Recreational Breakdance: 
For students in Kindergarten - Grade 3

In these introductory-level classes, students will learn the foundations of breaking (breakdancing) such as top rock, footwork, and freezes. Dancers will also learn the importance of good conditioning and stretching. Each week, our amazing teachers will lead students through a jam-packed warm up, skills development, and freestyle exercises. Dancers will be encouraged to use their creativity and to develop their own personal style. The recreational breakdance program includes opportunities for students to participate in battles and other special events, as well as one evening of performance at Art from The Heart, our year-end recital at the Yukon Arts Centre.

Prices include yearly tuition and a costume/production performance fee.​ ​Monthly installment plans over 11 months are available and include a 5% installment charge. The first payment is due the day of registration, and subsequent payments are due on the 1st of each month from September 1st to June 1st.

 *Please note that the monthly prices stated are NOT monthly payments - they are installments as all participants must commit to the full year.

​A late registration fee of $40 will be effective after August 27, 2024.
