LEARNING AND LEADING THROUGH PLAY
Preschoolers are empowered to co-create our plans and co-lead activities, where they develop a sense of pride and mastery by contributing to our visual arts, acro, dance, and music classes. Our educators, artists, musicians, and stellar support staff celebrate each preschooler’s skill development, growth, and learning as they develop their sense of empathy and kindness through our cooperative and non-competitive focus.
Preschoolers gain early literacy, numeracy, and science skills integrated with play and creative programming. Learning materials are tailored to each child's development, emphasizing personal growth, creativity, and self-expression.

PRESCHOOL ACTIVITIES
At Heart Heroes, we follow a daily schedule that includes child initiated centres and social-emotional learning, circle time to explore child lead themes and big ideas, snacks and lunchtime, fine arts programming, quiet time with stories, yoga or mindfulness, and outside playtime at a nearby park or green space.
We host monthly field trips and we enjoy our giant indoor playspace for developing gross motor skills.
HEART HEROES: FULL TIME AVAILABILITY (AGES 3-5)
Monday to Friday: 7:30a.m. - 3:30p.m.
$310 per month (the full price is $1010 but Yukon Early Learning and Childcare Funding will cover $700 every month). Fees include home made snacks, hot lunches, specialty classes, and monthly field trips (ie. museum admission, bus fare, etc)!
Heart Heroes Preschool is open during March Break and Summer. Heart Heroes Preschool is closed for all Yukon Statutory holidays for 2 weeks over Christmas and 1 week in August just before Whitehorse school starts.
