Ellen Thompson
Toddler & Parent Music Instructor

Ellen Thompson was born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon.
She holds an ARCT in Piano Performance and Level 9 Voice with the Royal Conservatory of Toronto.
She is in continuing Orff Schulwerk training and holds her Level 1 Orff Schulwerk certification from VCC and the BC Orff Chapter.
Ellen has over 10 years of teaching experience and teaches a full studio of students with a focus on Piano and Early Childhood Music.
Ellen has been a part of the Heart of Riverdale Team since 2017 and believes integrating music into a child's life is so important in a child's development.
Not only does it bring joy, but it also fosters emotional expression, and promotes problem solving and motor skills.
