Ken brings a wide range of experience to his teaching from 40 years of freelance professional work in Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, and the Yukon. His performance experience includes: small jazz trios, jazz big bands, concert bands, orchestra percussion, theater productions, concert tours, jingle and album recording. A lifelong student of drumming, Ken has studied with master teachers such as Claude Ranger and Stanley Spector. He has maintained a teaching practice thoughout his career and teaches private lessons, group lessons, and workshops.
